Meghna’s company, dubara, is getting real this year: it rents out reusable tableware for events, then delivers it, picks it up and washes it.
I’m taking on its whole digital experience: the site, the customer app, the dashboard behind it.
This month I put together an MVP in Figma, and a design system to go with it.
I’m also recreating dubara’s pieces with Gen AI, so the catalog has clean, consistent product shots: an oval platter, a hexagon tray, a faceted bowl.

After our last planning meeting, I wrote up the week ahead. Every user gets their own login and a form to capture their data, and one dashboard shows what the forms collect. I design it, and a developer builds it.
I also made the case against Squarespace. It’s fine for a website, but it won’t scale to a platform. dubara needs a real stack, and the front end is the part I can do.
Next up: the forms on mobile, then the dashboard, worked out with Meghna.
